Mechanical Design


  1. Vik to say more on mechanical design/manufacture effort at Sheffield - mounting of delicate optical lenses, micron positional X-Y carriages to mount CCD cameras.

  2. Define Mechanical requirements - determined by telescope focus position, camera design, optical layout etc.

  3. Determine UKATC role in mechanical engineering side
