ULTRACAM will see first light on the GHRIL focus of the 4.2-m William Herschel Telescope (WHT) on La Palma during early autumn 2001. This web-page shows the Gantt chart for the project, which details the status of the individual ULTRACAM work packages.

There are two major milestones in the project, denoted by the letters CDR and ATR in the Gantt chart. These represent review meetings attended by all of the project members.

CDR Critical design review. Detailed design of every part of the instrument presented. Confirm project is on course for successful completion and identify any elements of the detailed design which need further work. Start construction of the component parts and coding of the software.
ATR Acceptance Test Review. Demonstrate that ULTRACAM is complete and that its performance meets the requirements.
