Spot diagrams
The following three slides show the spot diagrams for the green, red and blue cameras, i.e. u’, g’ and r’ filters. The square boxes are 2 x 2 pixels.
The reason for the greater spread in the u’ camera is the rapid changing of the refractive index of the glasses at short wavelengths.
The final diagram shows the spot diagrams in all the cameras superimposed onto one slide to show the pixel to pixel mapping between the cameras. In this slide the wavelength range is 330nm to 900nm.
