WHT lone worker alarm

All lone workers, especially Observing Support Assistant, Support Astronomers and Visitors
The SBES personal alarm sender unit is kept in the control room and is capable of raising the alarm manually by means of the two ‘Panic Button’ and automatically by a ‘tilt’ sensor should the lone worker become incapacitated. Please see the Operating Instructions. The operating range is the WHT and RoboDIMM tower.

The sender units battery should last 2 years. It will be changed every year. There is no need for a charger.
Upon alarm activation the system will automatically dial up the designated telephone numbers as defined in the emergency call protocol, alerting the recipients that the lone worker alarm has been activated.
